China and Estonia signed the Protocol on Veterinary Health Requirements for Dairy Products to be Exported to China

At the invitation of Estonian Ministry of Rural Affairs, Mr. Mei Kebao, Vice Minister of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ) visited Estoniaon 16th May.

During his visit, Mr. Mei Kebao discussed with Mr. UrmasKrusse, Minister of Rural Affairs of Estonia, on enhancing bilateral cooperation on food quality inspections and other related matters. The two sidesalso signed the “Protocol between the Ministry of Rural Affairs of the Republic of Estonia and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China on Veterinary Health Requirements for Dairy Products to be Exported from Estonia to China”, which will lay the foundation for bilateral trade of dairy products. The Chinese ambassador to Estonia H.E. Mr. Qu Zhe attended the meeting and signing ceremony.

During the visit, the AQSIQ delegation also visited some of the local dairy companies.
